Directions

CAMEL is HERE. Use this link to get directions from anywhere to our home pool at Connecticut College, Lott Natatorium. Please note, the directions may send you to the main campus side of the street, please be sure to turn in to the athletic complex side of the street, not the main campus. Directions to CAMEL team events not at Connecticut College’s Lott Natatorium:

Below are directions to some of the pools we compete at most often. For a more complete list, visit the ctswim.org website directions section. Please send better directions to Coach Ann as we are always looking for a better way to get there!

Cheshire Community Pool i-95 South to 91 North to Exit 10 (Rte 40 ext). Follow to the end heading north, take a right onto Rte 10. Follow Rte 10 North into Cheshire. Pool is on the right across from the High School. Map shows alternate route. MAP

Cheshire Pool to Wesleyan University From the Cheshire Town Pool, turn right at stop light onto Route 10. Follow Rt 10 for about 5 miles until you get to the entrance ramp to route I-691. Take a right onto 691 EAST towards Meriden. Follow 691 until you get to 66 East (691 becomes 66 east). Proceed approximately 15 minutes to Middletown. At Rt. 72 (Vine Street) turn right and proceed to the end at Cross St.East Hartford HS I-395 or RT 11 North to Rt 2 West (Hartford). Exit #8 toward Hebron Ave. Turn right on Oak, left on Hebron, right on House, right on Griswald, left on Prospect. Prospect becomes Forbes then bear left on Leonard. MAPEast Hartford Middle School I-395 or RT 11 North to Rt 2 West (Hartford). Exit #5A/Main Street. Turn Right on Burnside Avenue. 777 Burnside Ave. MAP

Haddam-Killingworth I-95 South. Take exit 69 and proceed North on Route 9 to exit #9/RT 81 toward Higganum. Turn right on Killingworth, left onto Little City Road. Turn left into the second school driveway. Pool entrance is by the large parking area. MAP

Hopkins School I-95 South to exit #47. Proceed to the end of the connector and then exit straight ahead onto the parallel Frontage Road (Rt. 34). Continue on this road about two miles until you reach the Boulevard. Take a right and get into the far left lane. At the light take a left– all the while remaining on Rt. 34. Continue until you come to Rt. 122 (Forest Road). Take a right and Hopkins will be on the left after traveling about 1 mile. MAP

Odessa Terry Pool I-395 or RT 11 North to Rt 2 West (Hartford). Rt 2 west to Exit 5A stay straight and go onto Main St. Turn left onto Brewer St. then left onto High St.

Southern CT State University I-95, Exit 45 (Ella Grasso Boulevard, Route 10). Follow Ella Grasso Boulevard north. Ella Grasso Boulevard ends at Crescent Street, near the south entrance to the campus. MAP

UCONN, Storrs Take 395 North to exit 81 West to Route 32 North. Follow Route 32 to Willimantic. In town, turn right and go over the bridge. Continue straight through the light and follow 195 North for 8 miles to campus. Follow your way through the campus towards the silver dome. This is the field house; the pool is in the adjacent brick building. MAP

Wesleyan University I-95 South to Rt. 9 toward Hartford/Middleton. Take Rt 66 (First stop light) left to Vine Street. Turn left. Parking lot is past the tennis courts. Street parking is tricky, please park legally. MAP

Wilton YMCA Take I-95 South to exit 15 to route 7 North. Follow the Route 7 North freeway to its end and turn right at the light. Turn left onto Rt. 7 north. Go 4.4 miles and turn right into the Y parking lot. The Wilton Family Y is on the right, and the Wilton High School is on the left. Additional parking is available across the street from the Y at the high school if needed. Map shows Merrit PKWY alternative. MAP

Yale University  Take the Merritt Parkway to Exit 59. Turn south to the first traffic light and left onto  Whalley Ave. Go 3.7 miles to York Ave. Turn left on York to the first light. Turn left.Yale’s Payne-Whitney Gymnasium is straight ahead.  Or from I-95, take the Route 34 exit, turn right at the first light onto York, and follow the above directions.
