CAMEL Offers Full Practice Schedule Throughout the Holiday Weekend

May 22, 2008 on 5:35 pm

As a part of our recent goal meetings, the CAMEL coaching staff has been educating the swimmers about the strong connection between practice and success in the sport of swimming.    Most of the swimmers’ “process goals” for the season include consistent attendance at the top of their list.   CAMEL offers as many practice opportunities as possible to enable the athletes to meet those goals while still being able to participate in “life outside the pool”.   Thus, CAMEL is offering the regular practice schedule, fully staffed, throughout the entire holiday weekend:

  • Friday 6:00PM - 8:30PM
  • Saturday 8:00AM - 10:00AM
  • Sunday 6:00PM - 8:30PM
  • Monday 6:00PM - 8:30PM

CAMMY CONTEST for swimmers and parents, too!

May 20, 2008 on 10:15 am

The CAMEL coaches have been discussing proper nutrition, hydration and rest with the swimmers.  Here is another Cammy Contest.  It is a  reaction test.   Play as many times as you want.    Print out your results and the fastest average reaction time (swimmer or parent) will get a prize on Tuesday, June 3.   Try it now and then try it again after a week of focusing on proper nutrition, hydration and rest.
